The following are excused absences:
Students with excused absences are responsible for requesting their makeup work upon their return to school. They have three school days to complete and turn in their assignments.
Students cannot be signed out after 1:20 p.m. for high school (NO EXCEPTIONS).
The following are excused absences:
- Student illness
- Medical appointment with a doctor’s note
- Death in the family
- Observance of a religious holiday
- School sponsored event

Students not seated in their first block class at 7:30 a.m. for high school or 8:30 a.m. for middle school will not be allowed to attend their class until the next period. Please note that it will be counted as an unexcused absence.
